You'll also be spending time behind the camera as we cover all the bases in this interactive workshop.This program will
be invaluable to Portrait, Commercial and Editorial photographers
alike, whether youre already shooting digitally or wondering
where to start. With hands-on demos of shooting techniques
and all the necessary production steps (and tricks), you will
learn the skills of digital operation and how to make them successful
for you.
This 2 1/2 day intensive course will have you develop
an understanding, comfort, and proficiency with the entire Digital
Process - from camera through to production and project management.
You will be able to offer your clients all of the benefits that
come with this exciting new technology, while taking the fear
out of the process for yourself.
Set in the funky side of Vancouver, the Gastown area is full of adventure and has no lack of interesting locations. Beaches to back alleys, restaurants and clubs are all within a few minutes walk. The class time will be in and out of doors, with plenty of time for shoptalk, sponsor yaps and social adventures.

Basic vs Intermediate
While both course will offer similar content, the Intermediate will dive into more involved processes and proceed at a quicker pace than the Basic. Those that are familiar and comfortable with Photoshop and Digital Camera functions will enjoy the intermediate, whereas those in the Basic have yet to achieve that comfort level. Those who have taken a workshop before or the Basic this year, will be fully prepped and ready for Intermediate.
Who Should Attend...
Professionals & serious amateurs are welcomed alike, but bring an attitude thirsty to learn all about the workings of the digital photographic experience. You should be familiar with basic photoshop and camera operations, and generally comfortable with computer functions - Don't worry about the advanced skills - that's what you'll learn here!
