Many elements need to come together to create the "perfect image", and now with digital technology the process can seem even more overwhelming. Creativity too often takes a back seat to file juggling and painful production techniques, so this is your chance to learn how to take control of your operations and let your creativity soar!
With subjects ranging from Kids to Prime Ministers, Jewelry to Jets, and Interiors to Centerfolds, Craig's "lenscape" is ever-changing with event challenges always becoming imaging opportunities. During this workshop, you'll learn all the steps in the process including - digital preplanning, set locations & styling, location & creative lighting techniques, effective image handling & workflow, turbo-charged production and even some special tricks to really make your images stand out amongst all others.
No Brides will be shot or harmed during this event! As a fresh and exciting learning alternative, we will work in an editorial style of imagery with live sessions that will touch on corporate, fashion, illustrative and environmental portraits that bring a contemporary feel to the image, but always with a personal touch to the subject.
This course will be of interest to anyone familiar with basic digital shooting & production, and of special interest to the photographer with the desire to take their work to the next level and beyond!
This 2 1/2 day intensive course will have you develop
an understanding, comfort, and proficiency with the entire Digital
Process - from camera through to production and project management.
You will be able to offer your clients all of the benefits that
come with this exciting new technology, while taking the fear
out of the process for yourself.
Set in the funky side of Vancouver, the Gastown area is full of adventure and has no lack of interesting locations. Beaches to back alleys, restaurants and clubs are all within a few minutes walk. The class time will be in and out of doors, with plenty of time for shoptalk, sponsor yaps and social adventures.
